We've owned two vehicles, both had all sorts of alignment and fitment issues, AC broken at delivery on our R1S. Every neighbor or person I know who purchased a vehicle has had alignment problems or some type of shop visit within a few weeks of ownership. There are 7 vehicles in my neighborhood...
I am LONG and still hold all of my IPO which has lost most of its value. I still believe in Rivian and want them to succeed. I just want to be real about the experience.
I want Rivian to start addressing initial quality with a real pre delivery inspection that includes a test drive, alignment...
The door is not installed properly. I was probably not set up correctly in the factory and the delivery center or end of line team just hammered the door catch up or down to force the door and body lines to come together.

Pulled to the right, couldn’t correct after several alignments. Sagged on the right front, clicking/clunking,
every time the truck came back with some small damage.
With body work you can’t just adjust one panel otherwise you just move the problem. They probably need to relax the fenders a bit and shift tue hood forward a bit. I wouldn’t let the Rivian service techs do it. Have a trusted body shop with a 5 star yelp rating (or Porsche certification) do the...
