I have the 119s (switched after wearing down the OEMs at around 21k miles) and run them at 65psi cold on my DM R1T, which means I'm usually around 70 psi when they're warm. I left the tire setting on the OEM Pirellis, and my mi/kWh has gone from 2.73 on the OEMs to now reading 2.74 (I did not...
I have a 2024 dual large T. I replaced my OEM 22s after 21,471 miles (they were all at 3-4mm tread depth) almost 2 months ago with a set of LTX Defender 119s at Discount Tire with a price match from Costco. Costco would not allow 115XLs because my yellow door sticker says my truck requires...
This hasnāt been resolved - the lack of podcast pausing when nav instructions are being given is an ongoing annoyance. Would love a fix in a future update, hopefully s00n.
Think @strykerwsu meant āton of takeoffs for saleā, meaning lots of people are selling their 21s to switch to either 20ā or 22āā¦. I agree, youāll be able to find sets of 21s available on the secondary market.
My 2024 R1T's (VIN 32k-ish) door pulls are rock solid, and the metal handles (which gen 2 lacks) are also functional without squeaking. Hopefully can be easily fixed, since they are 'high touch' parts. Good luck!
My understanding is that adding up all of your incurred costs with the residual is certainly important in determining overall value -- I put zero down, took a trade-in, and the $7500 EV tax credit I received makes it such that if I exercise the purchase option at the stated residual at the end...
For those with experience leasing in the past (I'm new to this), how often does the bank negotiate on residual at end of lease? I can see how gen 1 R1 vehicles may depreciate more than anticipated with leases that were drawn up before the release of Gen 2, and would love an opportunity to buy...
Yes, absolutely critical to lift the vehicle safely. Various threads here have noted previous underbody damage from shops that lacks pucks/expertise. I haven't had my R1 long enough to do a rotation yet, but I carry these, a bottle jack, chocks, and a torque wrench with me...
Love my Emporia -- I didn't know about the RIV discount code when I got mine, that's nice it's out there, makes it an even better value.
I also have a ChargePoint Home Flex, which I bought before my EV actually arrived so I could take advantage of local utility rebates -- its disadvantages are...
For safety reasons, your circuit output of 48A is correct: the National Electrical Code (NEC) ā80% ruleā for EV charging requires your charger uses no more than 80% of the capacity of the circuit it is attached to.
L3 charging causes more battery stress and degradation. Your electrician can...
As I understand it, the $7500 credit applies to all leased EVs (customer income and vehicle price limits do not apply as they would for EV purchases). And, yes, a down payment or trade-in is completely separate from the $1000 deposit made upon ordering. No idea on trade-in values given by...
We have 2 BEVs and 2 chargers (Emporia and ChargePoint) -- very important for TOU electricity pricing. We mainly charge overnight. It is nice to have options for visiting family members who have BEVs - with multiple chargers, we don't have to worry.
