I haven’t bought my Rivian yet, but I talked to a guy who was charging his Ford Lightning at the Newport Irving. He said he got a couple hundred miles range while eating supper at the diner.

Just a hunch here. Mechanical brakes scrub off rust every time they’re used while moving (stationary holding removes no rust). If all of your braking has been covered by the regenerative braking, then the mechanical braking won’t be used enough to rub off rust. On the other hand if only one...

@Ryan1T I do worry a little about the shortage of chargers in northern New Hampshire and northern Maine (my Dad's camp is up in Springfield, Maine).

Hello, I just joined the group. I’ve got a Ford Escape Hybrid right now and my wife has a Nissan Leaf. I’m considering a Rivian to replace the Escape. I had a demo drive in Chelsea and loved it. I would’ve preferred a less urban area, but you take what you can get.
