That’s a good one. One of the big things I’m missing from my Tesla is the steering wheel controls for the HVAC, and the ability to change what the steering wheel controls do.
I’ve only had my truck since Friday but in the few days some things that would be great that should be simple OTA’s:
Blind spot cameras when you turn on a turn signal.
Dash cam, being able to save a dash cam clip simply like you can with Tesla(honking the horn or pushing a button on screen)...
That makes sense. I won’t be off-roading much, but I like the appearance of the 20’s better and I know what a pain it is to buy 21’s coming from a Tesla Model S.
Has anyone tried putting a smaller tire on the 20” rim to see if it would increase range? I’m not sure what size it would be exactly but I’m sure you could get a tire that fits the 20” rim that is the size of the 21” with the stock tires that get you the alleged 40 more miles of range. If...
I don’t have those particular ones, but I’ve been using a 20’ 12gauge extension cord to charge my Tesla Model S at work for years and had no problems. It slows the charge rate a bit, but nothing too drastic. Will be doing the same with the new R1T.
If you were to buy used, would you find any benefit in specifically looking for a higher VIN model? I’ve seen some in the 1xxx range and some in the 9xxx range, and of course in between. Would the 9xxx range ones presumably have some bugs worked out?
