Sand anchors work very well for winching in the sand. In a pinch a spare tire can be buried as well. Regardless, a winch would be useful in many offroad situations.

Wrong, as of today, there is no lossless transmission of HiFi over Bluetooth (5.x). There are some wireless systems announced that are coming out but no one is using the yet. Not even Apple. Regardless, you can hear the difference for yourself on Rivian's system.

Congratulations. Use one of the lossless built-in apps like Tidal or Apple Music. Make sure to set streaming to the HiFi setting. Then use the EQ to adjust to your taste. I don't care for Rivian's preset EQ selections. I usually set mine up in an upside bell curve from near the 0 setpoint...

I have tried both Android and Apple. Bluetooth streaming is not even close to the built in apps. Bluetooth cannot support the full bandwidth for lossless HiFi music. Some Codecs are better than others but you are not getting HiFi music.

I wouldn't bother with Bluetooth. The quality is so low Atmos wouldn't help if it did support it.

It does mention tethering will be allowed without C+. Maybe that will allow streaming from the built-in music apps using the Rivian WiFi connected to your phone's hotspot. I definitely won't use Bluetooth streaming as it sounds like garbage.

My R1T has been arriving in the mail. BTW- the R1Ts are commercial because of the bed. They also have an additional weight fee because of being a heavy truck. No bed is the reason the R1S is not registered as commercial and is about $200 cheaper.

R1S is definitely cheaper to register than the R1T
