  1. iOS 3.11.0 app version released

Has anyone used the ā€œPlan a Tripā€ feature? It just says, ā€œCalculating routeā€¦ā€ forever for me when I try to use it. Also, I had several trips saved in the previous app version and they all disappeared in the new one.
  2. Apple watch and Gen 1

Working great for me since day 1 with my gen1. What exactly do you mean that you can’t get the app onto your apple watch? I installed it via the Watch app…
  3. DIY Tire Rotation?

I don't technically rotate my tires, but I switch between 20" and 22" wheels/tires when Winter/Spring arrive. Also, I agree with others on this thread that I measure tread depth to determine what tires go where. The two tires with the greatest tread depth go in the front. I also have spares...
  4. Fourth set of batteries. Currently a brick at service center.

The quality of these 12V batteries seems to be a crap shoot My T was built on Sept’22 and delivered on Jan’23. I’m still on the original 2 batteries with no issues thus far.
  5. Rear Brakes "Seizing" when parked over 4hrs

Pads rusting and sticking to the rotors. Not an issue. My T does it and so does my ICE car.
  6. Recommended PPF Vendor in the Portland Metro Area

I use 503 Motoring for all my PPF needs. In 2023, they charged $7K to do the entire truck.
  7. Does auto ride height work for you?

Well, the hard reset "fixed" it so that's good. I paid close attention to how the system operates and saw that in general, it waits about a minute after reaching highway speed to lower. Interestingly, once you slow down to below 40mph, it immediately raises to Standard ride height. Brian
  8. Does auto ride height work for you?

Correct, this is a 2022 gen1 quad. I did try turning Auto off, then back on, but it still didn't work. I did the hard reset last night and will take it out on the highway today to see if that did anything. I regularly do a 15mi highway drive (Sunriver to Bend, OR) and Auto used to work just...
  9. Does auto ride height work for you?

I started noticing two SW updates ago that the auto ride height feature no longer seems to work. Just today, I was driving 75mph and the ride height was still at Standard. The "A with a circle around it" icon was displayed next to the ride height in the driver's display indicating Auto ride...
  10. Gen1 R1 RSB-93-24-001: TSB: Excessive Cabin Noise and Vibration from A/C Compressor

For your data collection exercise, my truck had 34,000 miles on it and was 2.8 years old (delivered Jan’23). The TSB work was covered under warrantee no questions asked. The paperwork said that they diagnosed my truck as having the noisy AC issue so they applied the TSB. The fix definitely...
  11. Gen1 R1 RSB-93-24-001: TSB: Excessive Cabin Noise and Vibration from A/C Compressor

Geez really sorry to hear the troubles you’re having getting the TSB performed. Obviously, Rivian has a SC consistency issue because I recently brought my ā€˜22 T in for this TSB and the jounce lines TSB and they performed both. This was at the Tualatin, OR SC.
  12. Picked up a spare tire. Now what??

When I bought my spare tire from the Gear Shop in '23, it came with the whole shebang (including jack) to secure the tire in the well. I guess they no longer include this?
  13. Swap Wheels Error (Resolved Via Software Update)

I went ahead and changed from 20ā€ AT to 22ā€ brights today. When I performed the swap in the vehicle SW, it did the restart and came up just fine showing the 22’s in the screens and in the phone app along with increased range as expected. My situation may be a little different from those of you...
  14. Swap Wheels Error (Resolved Via Software Update)

Great. I was going to change to my summer wheels/tires in a couple of weeks… If an update doesn't come out before then, I’ll go ahead and perform the physical change but delay switching them in the SW until an update comes out.
  15. This can’t be normal… Loud breaking free sound after truck sits stationary for a while… VIDEO

Rawrr_dinosaurs's response way back is 100% correct. It's corrosion causing the pads to stick to the rotors and isn't a caliper or other mechanical issue. My car does this as well after washing it (it doesn't get driven in the rain so washing is the only situation where the brakes get wet)...
