Yep, it's the infrared radiation from sun that causes your car to heat up. Get a tint that blocks IR. UV will fade the interior, so get a tint that blocks both UV and IR. I'm in Phx and nothing really prevents the car from becoming an oven except if you leave the AC on while parked...

As a somewhat regretful early adopter of an R1S that disappointed in some respects–but was awesome in others–I am definitely cheering for Rivian R2. I hope the R2 is the vehicle that catapults Rivian into profitability. RJ and the Rivian team deserve it.

Absolutely. My point is that many customers would pay a premium (~$65k) for a max pack.

That's why they have engineers: to figure out how to add 15% more range. Yes, maybe at the expense or weight/towing and cost. But plenty of people will pay for max pack including me.
