Range impact is mostly a battery temp game. Leave the car outside unplugged? Battery gets cold. Range gets hit nasty especially with short drives. If you have a plug you won't experience nearly as bad of a drop.
It is possible to find a fully XPEL wrapped vehicle in the shop. They appear from time to time. If you go on the Rivian shop you can filter for them via the Stealth Package or Road Trip Package. This is likely what yours was.
It depends on what you like. The Z06 and almost any sports car, especially slower manual analog type cars, are about the visceral experience. Not everyone's cup of tea though.
Agreed, there is definitely room for both. Also depends on how much time and days you have. All that can make EVs a little tough on long and remote trips.
Can't be beat for local use though assuming you can charge at home.
It is possible that some of the refrigerant lines are contacting parts of the body, especially if the sound changes with acceleration and deceleration. Or that the system is low or high on refrigerant and causing the hum and vibration as the pump isn't working optimally.

I think R2 by itself won't do much, maybe a lil bump for the news. Until Rivian shows a profit, I don't think the stock is moving much. Pains me to say. I've been debating selling it all off here soon...
