I am referring to the "opposite" adaptors, which are now required on 2026 Rivians. In order to use a CCS emitter (EA, RAN, etc.) I need to convert it to fit in the native NACS receptacle on my 2026 R1S. Looks like this:

Unfortunately, yes. This is also why Gen1 and Gen2 key cards and fobs (and Adventure Band) are not cross-compatible.

FYI the service center in Chicago (2033 West Walnut Street) should get much better in the next week or so. They will no longer be doing new vehicle deliveries at that location .. shifting to Buffalo Grove location. That should free up the side lot for more customer parking.

I had them on my Gen1 R1S. Worked great. Had them installed at Atrendz in Park Ridge ($500). Only downside was that the rear jack points were blocked by one of the 3 brackets. Can still jack it at alternate point per Rivian Towing Guid, just used a jack pad. Their version for Gen2 vehicles...
