Great product concept but it's a total failure that it doesn't interact with the Rivian software. A $1 PCB could tell Rivian that there's a drawer and it's locked so it can't be pulled out.
I've seen drawers that can do this that were sent to me for prototyping...
I can't imagine it working the way it does today, intentionally. But I also don't know if maybe there's a different purpose for this info inside the RIDE menu.
I thought the same when I got mats that fully covered the area behind the pedal, so I went into the RIDE menu and it did show it was registering 100% when fully depressed.
Although it was strange trying to get the menu to show accelerator position because it only shows it increment when the...
I worked with a company that made a prototype and they added a PCB to the back of the 3D printed drawer with two copper contact points and when I inserted the drawer, the UI showed it as an official Rivian drawer accessory, and it could be securely locked/unlocked. Here's what that looked like...
Motor in back has wiring harness go to rear of battery pack. It's a short run. Charge port will also utilize the same harness so it's a short run.
Putting charge port in front either requires a 10ft HV cable run to the back where the wiring harness goes to the pack, OR another plug to the...
Received today and installed. 45 minute job. The eyeloop terminal wasn't large enough in diameter to fit the 12v post so I had to drill it out. The tone of the horn makes it feel LOUD.
Not really any adjustment to the horn. It's touching the fender-well and the orange high voltage cables...
This glass stripper works great. Give it a try.

If that 3D product etched your glass then all you can do is polish it with a high speed polisher and glass polish but you have to be careful because if you polish too much it will create distortion. Try the glass stripper...
The Torx Plus bit is provided, and it fits into a socket (I'm not sure what size but it's a standard size from any socket wrench set). I used a standard 1/2 drive socket wrench. Installed the rock sliders on both my R1S and R1T. No breaker bar necessary. Just use your muscles. Once I backed out...
