But seriously, it was something quick they could do for me on short notice. Mobile techs service my area on Thursdays and they were able to squeak in a quick check while they were in the area.
The fact that they just opened the second SC might also free up the bandwidth.
Being nice, flexible...
Update: mobile tech fixed. It was also going slowly and there was a moment when they thought it could be a burnt out motor, but they did some digging on their laptop and ran some routine.
Tried calibration again and the motor was powerful and calibration worked!
The Tucson Mobile techs are...
Just installed the latest update on my gen1 w/replaced tonneau and now it's telling me that I need to recalibrate the tonneau.
Okay, NBD
I run the calibration and it tells me I still need to calibrate the tonneau. In the meantime, it won't open.
Did both resets to no avail.
And I'm a few...
This strikes me as a bit of a silly and misleading list from Chevy's advertising team.
The two vehicles serve different purposes and the Rivian will be a far better "trail boss" if only due to size and suspension.
The Silverado would be a far better truck for full-size truck use cases
You...
A few updates ago, my Gen 1 started rebooting itself, but the next update fixed it
Fast forward to the most recent update - it rebooted again and I thought "ugh this again"
But the second time it rebooted, it went into a boot loop to the Rivian Logo splash screen and then rebooting... Never...
Or just anything in the SE corner of the state! All the best Tucson area recreation is East of here and all we have is the unreliable Benson charger. I get nervous every time I go to chiricahua monument, near Mt Wrightson, or anything in the vicinity of Apache sitgraves
Almost been stranded in...
It happened to me constantly a while back after an update, then the next update fixed
Then this last update happened and it did it twice, again. The third time it decided to stick to a reboot loop, loading the logo splash screen before immediately rebooting
Over
And over
And over
Just got...
See, you should have just given me a lmgtfy link since my two brain cells clearly aren't sparking on contact....
I have seen this thread but didn't click through, thinking it was centered around data points/tracking
Thank you for graciously being on-point with only my self-shame as a result
I think a few on here have taken their Rivians overseas and I'm curious how that's panned out, seeing as there's no Rivian presence nor warranty outside of North America.
Contemplating taking it to Europe but up to this point, it's needed service a couple times a year (mostly minor)
I know in...
It's every time. Not sometimes in order to calibrate. It's. Every. Time. It was like that when new, went away once or twice for longer periods after updates, now it's back as of either this most recent update or the one before - I lose track at this point.
For the record: I LOVE the engagement...
