Rivian dropped their trade in for my 2022 Bronco Raptor with 17k miles roughly 5k in the last two months. Significantly lower than anyone else. Total nonstarter.
We sold our 2022 R1T in 2023. I’ve kept watching them since, and even tried to get my wife into an R1S a few times, but stuck with our Bronco Raptor and Ioniq 5N. Now I’m wondering if I’ll do tri R1T or R2 whenever they open up the builds next month. I am definitely leaning R1T. Have had a...
I think the present SC setup will fall over fast with 50k deliveries this year of a new vehicle. They really need to nail the quality at a level they never have. Buyers of a $50k “downmarket” EV will not have the patience for Rivian’s low quality “we’ll fix it later / post delivery”...
Ionna chargers / stations rock. Fast, clean, and in my experience, have stuff around them. Oh, and cheaper than most.
a few pics from my last road trip. I really like the data they share.
We no longer have our R1T, but did take two road trips over this holiday break in our Ioniq 5N.
This car has a 77kWh battery and gets a measly 230 miles per full charge, or this winter more like 180. That said, road tripping it was awesome. We had fast, reliable charging at Ionna and EA and...
or live in a state with expensive electricity. $38 comes pretty fast when you think about is 110 or so Kw.
I definitely like data a little too much and I do track the cost of all of my vehicles, when I had my R1T it wasn’t that much less expensive than my bronco raptor which gets 15 miles per...
Totally agree. As much as folks say the R1’s are amazing off road, it’s got nothing on this BRaptor. Of course, on road, yeah, that’s a different story. If you don’t have to go off road, or tow a lot, and live on top of an SC, Rivian’s can be amazing… tradeoffs though. Tradeoffs.
