Rivian tracker should not be considered an official source. Someone did actually publish the PDFs from the EPA confirming the pump somewhere on this forum though.

I’m just here to timestamp my prediction that Gen 2 R1 vehicles will never get point to point autonomy and that this is just another disappointment waiting to happen for current owners.

Realizing I prefer engine noise to the endless source of rattles in my gen 2 has been an interesting revelation.

Each pedal is its own mechanical system and that’s the way it should be. I do not even like the fact that Rivian uses mechanical brakes on regen without my permission.

If I wanted a reliable, refined vehicle that wasn’t annoying I wouldn’t own a Rivian at all. I prefer my half baked cars to have 1000hp.

the r1 is clearly a vehicle that looks best stock.

We’ve got a set of aero wheels that we put on my wife’s car for road trips, otherwise we just keep the ATs on both of our rivians. Swapping them frequently is possible but it’s kind of a pain in the ass.

There’s no point in going SL if you want to do any legitimate off-roading. Load E tires do much better with less air and there’s hardly a range penalty.

All of the suggestions you got were bad IMO. You don’t want or need a MT and RTs aren’t going to help much either for what you’re after. You want a load range E tire that can take very low pressures and based on the requirement for an aggressive looking tire you’re in the market for a Toyo AT3EV...

They’re in the same place as an r1 with 15” of clearance. Sounds like you need a beige Lexus.
