  1. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

I have coastal cloud in my R1T and I love it. I wanted the same being that I have always had black interiors prior, and have black in the other two vehicles I own. I was very disappointed that it wouldn't be in launch. But... It's not enough to hold me back. I'll probably go with the LE...
  2. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

That gives them up to a year leeway and doesn't imply priority. If we look at Tesla, Porsche and other manufacturers, priority is given to previous owners, not lease holders. My guess is that Rivian wants the data more than the ability to prioritize. They likely want to know what numbers they...
  3. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

That actually proves my point. Rivian started leasing November 27, 2023. Therefore those leases won't be coming to term until the end of the year at the very earliest. Anyone who is in line for an R2 who is one of those current lease holders will probably get pushed back if they intend on...
  4. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

Equal treatment and prioritization are conceptually distinct: to consider something equal is to treat all items the same, while to prioritize is to rank items by importance. You're hanging your hat on a single word and there's zero confirmation of your interpretation of that word. You're...
  5. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

No where in that does it say priority goes to lease holders. It could actually be the opposite; if you have reservation but your lease doesn't end until, let's say, December they could push you back in the list to coincide with the term of the lease. Even if they did prioritize some it would...
  6. Confirmed: R2 reservation holders will be invited to configure orders in June

You probably need to go into your account online and enable notifications. A while back they introduced notification preferences and a lot of older customers had them turned off by default.
  7. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

Sooooo, it's not a confirmed order, they only confirmed that you have a reservation. An order isn't an order until it's a signed and completed order (i.e. you received an email saying it's ordered).
  8. Anyone using Rivian (unofficial) integration with Home Assistant?

Just a heads up for anyone using the HA integration. Rivian has recently decided to limit API connections, which they previously left unrestricted. If you connect HA to your Rivian account be sure to create an additional driver and use that account for API access. There's no guarantee that...
  9. Conflict at the Supercharger

I agree that Tesla could have said something to their base that this was happening. I'm sure people are getting caught by surprise and I'm sure there's going to be idiots who react negatively towards it. Again, we have one side of the story. Sure it could be like that, but I would assume...
  10. Conflict at the Supercharger

I've never said that Rivian's shouldn't charge at SCs. Additionally, I've never said that he blocked 3 chargers. 3 cars doesn't = 3 chargers. Not once did I say either of those things. The OP prevented 3 Tesla vehicles from charging at the unit he was blocking, one of which was able to...
  11. Conflict at the Supercharger

It directs you to a station that has open chargers. In this case there was a open charger, which the OP was blocking and therefore Tesla would route vehicles to it. The OP didn't state that he said he had no right to be there, he said "that I have no right to do this". "This" in my opinion...
  12. Conflict at the Supercharger

Have I ever said he shouldn't charge? No, I said that if it was me and I noticed that I blocked another unit for 3 waiting Tesla's I would have attempted to do something to remedy the situation so that I'm not blocking people from charging. Quite obvious that you have an agenda. Blocking an...
  13. Conflict at the Supercharger

That's true for EA as well and just the nature of the beast. You could be 2 minutes away and it says 3 spots open, then 3 people get there before you. I actually like that EVGo has a reservation system and I really wish other companies would start adopting that. The down side is that I know...
  14. Conflict at the Supercharger

I completely agree with everything you said. I want to touch on this for a minute though. If I took a pull through because nothing else was available I would use the pull through and waited until one of the other ones was open and then moved. Or I would have put a piece of paper saying call...
  15. Conflict at the Supercharger

Tolerance is a part of being considerate for sure. But there has to be balance otherwise you'll get walked all over. I think there's a lot of assumptions being made throughout this thread. I read the irate Tesla owner in the OP as having issue with occupying 2 stalls. Some other people take...
