OK, I'm in San Diego which hopefully has a ton of vehicles.
I'm a bit bummed as last week when I bought it they told me it was being shipped down from Orange County so they said that I could probably close sooner. But today when I called they said it was being transported from Illinois and...
OK thanks for that detailed response. Although I have to say it's a bummer to hear that in the event things go wrong (and it sounds like they will) that I'll get a cheap Enterprise rental.
If I can ask, what were the things that you had to take it in for and what were the mobile visits for...
I bought one of these A2Z adapters but what's the deal? When do they ship them out? I emailed to ask and no response. Total radio silence for them. I take delivery this weekend and was hoping to have it but I guess I'll have to just order one on Amazon. :(
How is Rivian with service requests when you had to take it in? I was one of the first Tesla Model S buyers back in 2012 and that thing was always in the shop! I was an early adopter and figured there would be growing pains but they always took good care of me and got me a loaner vehicle...
Thanks Dan!
I look forward to picking up my new R1S next week. Mine didn't come with a free adapter but bought one ahead of time. I'll use the $500 referral credit for a Tesla Supercharger adapter as those look like $250 and another member was kind enough to agree to send me $250 of his...
Awesome! Thanks for the links. That makes it easy for future people that need it too.
You "sold" me with that great endorsement. I just ordered one. Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks for the great info. This is great. I've been driving Teslas so long that I haven't had to think of anything else. I still have a Model Y so will be using the charger for that too. This is great that the charger is so easy. I read some old posts on another blog that said they...
Does the Tesla wall charger automatically work with these adapters to charge non-Teslas or do you have to configure anything with the home Tesla wall charger?
Great. Thanks for the mention of the brand. I'll look up some reviews online but figured there has to be a ton of former Tesla owners on this forum too. Or at least people that own a Tesla too. I still have a Model Y.
Thanks. I did make it for a test drive today in the San Diego service center off Miramar Road and I have to say I was very impressed. They let me take a test drive of the RS1 Dual with max battery and just told me to come back in an hour. I went alone.
Before going I did a trade in quote for...
Hi everyone. Long time Tesla early adopter here. I've purchased the Model S, X and Y. My daily driver was a Model X for almost the past 10 years and loved it but every year or so the repair bills just killed me and finally threw in the towel. I went and bought a R1S Dual Max battery today...
I’m test driving an R1S Dual tomorrow and the guide said I had to take delivery of the vehicle before March 30 for the discount but judging from your post it’s too late?
Does anything change in the process if you are keeping vanity plates? Has anyone gone through this process with Rivian of trading in but keeping your vanity license plates?
