My math maybe wasn’t perfect and I was guesstimating, but two things to factor in. 1) I do live in the middle of nowhere and my first 40 minutes of the drive are literally back/dirt roads 2) I could pull over and disable turtle mode/clear the codes that let me drive fast for a bit before it...
If I took an uber home I would have no other vehicle to drive my kids in. I also have difficulty finding uber drivers for the return ride home because I live in the middle of nowhere.
No I wouldn’t have been more mad because I expect it to fail at some point. I don’t expect rivian to work on my car and then get alerts I didn’t have before.
I took all my stuff because 1) time was of the essence; 2) they told me that they could get me right in and that they already had a hunch...
Just need to vent. What is Rivian doing here? My R1S apparently got flagged as needing a “preventative 12V replacement”. Mobile service came out and fixed it, free 12V which was nice. But since that, my frunk won’t open, but the car thinks it’s open so it’s stuck at 13mph. I called Rivian and...
I had very weird issues with my R1T - I was getting random alerts that the gear tunnels were open and the tailgate was open. It told me the headlights were off and not operable (even though they were on). When I’d exit the vehicle the rear light bar, left tail light, and front right headlight...
So today I went to drive and started getting a whole bunch of random alerts… gear tunnel open, tailgate open (all closed), auto headlights not working, some towing warning. Proximity locking not working. Rear light bar, right taillight, and right front headlight stay on even when I lock and...
Seems a silly question but with the new winter range indicator is the total mileage they’re showing before or after the deduction? Example, say my app shows 50 miles range, then says I’m losing 10 miles due to cold. Does that mean it’s estimating 40 miles range or that I woulda had 60?
