It's tough livin with a Rivian. I travel a lot for work and can't even begin to describe the sheer joy that overtakes my soul when I plop my ass down in my Mazda CX-60 or similar rental for the week and boot up Carplay. Pure nirvana. Said no one, ever, save for a few online trolls.

Do tell. Does that mean I should avoid using my Noco Genius 5 on the Ohmmu sodium when it arrives or is that ok since it's not lithium?

Yes I haven't had to do it yet myself but the DIY is fairly straightforward, especially for the single 12v setup. Plenty of posts on it in other threads but I think a quick skim through Ohmmu's installation video here is your best bet to see if you feel comfortable tackling it yourself.

Is not being able to reset the “replace 12v battery” notification specific to after replacing with Ohmmu? Because I was able to clear the same notification yesterday using the RIDE menu, but hadn’t replaced the battery.

I reset mine as well and hasn't come back, but that was only yesterday. In the RIDE dashboard it's reading ~13.1v so appears healthy from that reading though I know that doesn't tell the full story. Planning to pull it and put it on a battery tester when I get a chance.

I just got the "replace 12v battery" notification today as well. Something is up. I had mine replaced previously under warranty 23 months ago. I'm only at 33k miles but a couple months past the 3 year mark :mad:. Going to try the RIDE menu reset and if the alert comes back will go the Ohmmu...

That is frustrating. You actually drove an hour + limited at 13mph?! Seems dangerous. Have you tried the manual release for the frunk? Maybe if you open it that way and then shut it, it will recognize as being closed. Worth a shot.

IIRC it did show up during my setup process. Only way I knew to look for it.

Please spare me. Some people don’t have arms or hands to begin with. I’ve never once seen a post or heard a complaint about the positioning of the hazards button in the vehicle. But now that Rivian has rolled out this awesome new functionality people (or person) want to complain about these...

I can’t believe Rivian wasn’t thinking about someone severing their arm and needing to turn on the hazard lights with this initial release. The rest of your complaints are just about as ridiculous as that “use case”.
