Today's story post from Rivian all but explicitly confirms one can in fact buy a Launch Edition build with Coastal Cloud interior. CC interior just won't be available first, it will be later. Calling out CC in the dedicated LE package post... seems like it has to be a confirmation this LE + CC...

Not at all. I live in the middle of a population center with >100k people within 3-4 miles of where I live, even without big buildings / towers to block cell service to boot. This is also a constant for me regardless of where I am parked, around town, other cities, in the wide open outdoors, etc.

I really hope they can fix the Spotify infotainment app. It constantly doesn't load for me, I have to switch to another audio type (e.g. bluetooth phone) and back to Spotify to reboot it, etc. I would say this happens around 50% of the time I get into my truck. Lots of other parts of the Spotify...

100% was thinking the exact same thing when I submitted and saw 40% Catalina Cove. As much as I love that color, majority of cars on the road including Rivians are grayscale.

I'm surprised there's so much questioning around why anyone would ever want to trade in their R1T for the R2. There are tons of reasons for me: I don't need/want a pickup truck. When I got the R1T 4 years ago, Rivian's were the only option on the market for electric vehicles that were off-road...

I genuinely hope you're correct and that the light interior is available with Launch Editions. But the Rivian announcements, including the article you linked to which is what Tom M's video matches verbatim, have been ambiguous on it. And meanwhile reputably accurate sources like Rivian Trackr...

I'm interested, but going to decide when prices for the Launch package and options are released I'm super bummed about the light interior not being available for Launch Edition, and I'm lukewarm on the options included in Launch, so I don't think I can justify paying for those and not getting...

I'm curious to hear from the folks on this thread or others who got Gen 1 R1S's with internal Rivian audio. Has it gotten better over the past 2 years with OTAs? I'm eye'ing some pre-owned Gen 1 R1S's and curious if the Meridian --> Rivian audio for those is still a big sacrifice. Thanks!
