  1. Tesla can now deploy pre-fabricated Superchargers in a game-changing 4 days

They aren't doing that though , internally the chargers run at a DC Bus of 880 to 1000 VDC, this voltage is then passed through DC-DC converter which step it down to each dispenser, so the path is 480 VAC -> 880~1000 VDC -> 0~500 VDC This bus is also what links multiple cabinets, from 3 to 7...
  2. Rivian Layoff 10% Staff and Lowers Production Forecast for 2024

Ignoring a one time tax benefit, on Q4 2023 they earned 0.4B due to credits and had 2.1B of operating profits So yes, they are vastly profitable even without credits If we talk about only automotive gross margins, they had a 18.2% gross margin with credits and 17.2% without them on Q4 2023
  3. cybertruck's offroading capability seems to be rather limited?

I agree, both aren't good, actually there isn't a single EV truck that chargers well currently sadly
  4. Charging in Extreme Cold

Way earlier than that, specially with such a huge pack (thermal mass wise) as Rivian has and in really cold conditions
  5. Master List of Exported Rivians

There are at least two R1Ts here in Brazil, no idea where but likely within the Southern region from the videos I’ve seen
  6. Cybertruck gets 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload (official) + "shatter-resistant glass"

Most recent "leak from trusted source" that you should take with a huge grain of salt is 350 miles and 122 kWh, who know if that is gross or usable This puts it's efficiency a bit worse than R1T Enduro Max Pack (if the above is right), but practically the same, 345 Wh/mi vs 348 Wh/mi
  7. Rivian Max Pack EPA Data (document shows 141-142 kWh usable battery)

Why? It's the EPA rating, not "I'm driving at 80 mph at -35°" rating
  8. Rivian Max Pack EPA Data (document shows 141-142 kWh usable battery)

Really interesting, 141.8 kWh usable and 410 miles on EPA 5 cycle, meaning 346 Wh/mi or 2.89 mi/kWh, quite impressive
  9. Cybertruck gets 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload (official) + "shatter-resistant glass"

No I'm not, they said in many instances impact resistance and all that, which didn't go too well lol, but still held up But not that the glass was bullet proof, they did say that about the body
  10. Cybertruck gets 11,000 lbs tow rating / 2,500 lbs payload (official) + "shatter-resistant glass"

The glass was never said to be bullet proof, just the body
  11. Max Pack 1 - 100% Charging Curve/Speed - R1T

It was expected since the way the achieve it is more energy dense cells instead of more cells In most cases, energy density and charging time are opposites when compared in cells that the fundamental are close to each other
  12. Good to have a CEO who isn't tanking the brand... [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

Why? Because Rivian has an amazing product and I love seeing what everyone is doing with theirs, and would also love to have one one day also Specially the off road and camping trails with gorgeous photography some members post
  13. Good to have a CEO who isn't tanking the brand... [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

I will give a small suggestion, that everyone should take for every scenario in life, go look at the source instead of reading an article or news reel of "someone said something"
