    I have had mine in cruze when set to speed limit and had it attempt to do 85. I reset it and drive happily down the hill.

    My dash says the limit is 85 mph on Hwy 58 decending the grade out of Tehachapi Ca. this has not changed for 3 yrs. It does correct a few miles down the grade getting into the Central valley. My guess is that the cell signal there is out and the default is 85? Or a DOS Typo?

    I live 2 hours away from closest service ctr. Rivian gave me a loaner that they paid for including the fuel to drive home and back for the service time in the shop that they warrantied, Luxury car too.

    So then after the hold is off, the heat/cooling is off? The "hold" means to operate not hold off. Like the phrase, "Hold on" which means to stop. I apologize for the ambiguity of the english used, but I guess english can be confusing. My statement is confusing so my point is made.
