  1. Plastic underbody ripped off

I'm interested.... any idea of timeline to production of these? Just trying to determine if I wait or pull the trigger on the Rivian composites.
  2. Plastic underbody ripped off

No doubt... Looking back, the underbody shield option was $1700. If only I knew then what I know now...
  3. Plastic underbody ripped off

Minor update: After pushing them and providing some part numbers provided by Riviot (thnks mate!), they are able to sell the "offroad" panels - at a cost of $2400 installed. 😲 That is 3 reinforced panels only, not the entire kit, which, if I'm not mistaken (could be!) more expensive than when...
  4. Plastic underbody ripped off

So..... to give a quick update on this, in case anyone is interested. FINALLY got to drop the truck off this past Monday to have them look at it and, as expected, not covered under warranty - no surprises there. What is surprising is that they claim that even if they were to replace them, they...
  5. Plastic underbody ripped off

Ok, so if I'm reading what you posted correctly, part 392 has been deprecated by Rivian and replaced with part 550777-A and requires the diffuser (778-A)? Curious to know why... Not sure of anyone recalls but in the early days, you could configure a truck with just the RUS. Now you have to add...
  6. Plastic underbody ripped off

@Riviot Thanks for the info! Looks like the docs you attached only list the part numbers for the bolts holding the panels on (which I'll likely need anyway, so thanks) but not the panels themselves. Interesting that some of the part numbers aren't appearing in the system... I wonder if they are...
  7. Plastic underbody ripped off

So...wanted to ask and see if anyone could give me more info. Rivian is still playing coy about whether they'll warranty this - if they do, great. If not, not gonna lose sleep. I am thinking about "bulletproofing" this regardless. By that I mean trying to source the reinforced underbody shield...
  8. Plastic underbody ripped off

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but this happened last night... Was driving at night during heavy rain on a dark paved road and hit some standing water on the road doing about 25. Couldn't see it until I was in it... Slowed immediately but heard a noise from underneath and thought...
  9. Powered tonneau cover story time...(and a warning)

So... an update, if anyone is interested... I had called at some point mid-July because I saw they had closed the service ticket. I wanted to know how they knew I still needed it to be serviced if the ticket had been closed/how they were tracking it, etc. To my surprise, the lady said, "Oh, we...
  10. Powered tonneau cover story time...(and a warning)

SO... Have an early-ish R1T (delivery 9/22, 11k VIN) with a powered tonneau, which worked fine for quite a while. Fast forward to March of 2023 when an unfortunate accident involving my bike (attached to my bed via a rack), my garage and a rear window that shattered spectacularly. While that...
  11. Cars and Coffee meetup, West Palm Nov 5th

Hey, last minute but... Wanted to see if any of you local kids wanted to meet up at the Cars and Coffee tomorrow in WPB. https://www.carsandcoffeepb.com/ Thought it'd be cool to have a showing of Rivians there. Looks like you have to buy a pass to park inside the show nowadays... I'm going...
  12. Cargo bar locks

Has anyone purchased two sets of cargo bars and, if so, did you get the same lock cores in both sets? I'm looking to purchase an additional set and would like to be able to use one key (without having to buy cores from Yakima!)... CS has stated they cannot take requests to match up the cores...
  13. SNOW MODE & other nice upgrades coming in Rivian Software Update 2022.47 ❄️

Got it about 2 hours ago. Why they chose to early release this to me of all people is a mystery - snow mode is useless in South Florida. I didn't see any Christmas Easter eggs either. Disappointing. FYI, the snow mode gives low Regen and the image is the same one for all purpose, just with a...
  14. Keeping crossbars on or off -- opinion?

I've put 500 miles on my truck with the bars on the roof in varying driving conditions and not noticed a bit of range drop. I don't watch it super carefully, but if it makes a difference, it's not drastic. Why the roof? I love the look of it vs the bed.... but when loading my bike, def move...
