  1. CA EV rebate to launch July 1?

Ruh roh. Though I wonder if that rep has all the info. Or isn’t incentivized to say something to get a sale today. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  2. I’m a little surprised - no R2 flips yet?

Dual reservation holders will win, if there is enough demand to sustain flips. But I don’t play those games for $12.5k 😊
  3. R2 w/ LiDAR, 19-inch wheels spied

Fair. G 2.5 is more accurate. I’m all about autonomy though. So I’d like my vehicle purchased in 26/27 to be as capable as possible in 30/31.
  4. I’m a little surprised - no R2 flips yet?

Worth a shot. But the R2 demand is going to soften pretty quickly. If you are ok with keeping your first R2, then it’s no harm no foul!
  5. R2 w/ LiDAR, 19-inch wheels spied

With the pricing, that’s fair haha. Good point! The telegraphed G2R2 iteration, however, is still a different beast to me.
  6. R2 w/ LiDAR, 19-inch wheels spied

LIDAR LIDAR LIDAR! Definitely waiting for the G3. In a year, when the R2 launch is way in the rear view mirror, G3 is where all the updates will be for the following few years. Can’t justify an R2 Rivian told me will be the old version in a matter of months. I feel for the R1 G1 owners who, in...
  7. CA EV rebate to launch July 1?

I would not say this. This is cash on the hood, so I would get my ducks in a row before purchasing. But, folks need to do research and be prepared to educate Rivian when purchasing. Let’s not push out half informed statements.
  8. Rivian AEB failure and crash

That must be company dependent. That is not the case for SF.
  9. Rivian AEB failure and crash

Kewl. I guess those waiting for the Tesla to move are doing something wrong.
  10. Rivian AEB failure and crash

For sure it’s not always simple. But in a one off, usually you are in a good spot from an insurance standpoint. I’m not talking about someone who gets rear ended serially.
  11. Rivian AEB failure and crash

If you get rear ended by someone uninsured don’t you just pay the deductible and get it repaired. And the claim doesn’t affect your rates? At least that’s what happened to us. Same with hit and run.
  12. Rivian AEB failure and crash

I have ridden in 4 different 2026 MYs - two performance and two premium. With FSD. (I have ridden in probably 50 M3s and MY over the past couple of years. A lot through uber and, even though drivers are not really supposed to use FSD, some will just to test it out after telling me. It kills me...
  13. Anyone have R2 highway driving range to share? (I'm sure the color you picked looks great)

Ya. That one data point is in line with what I would expect. Though I was hoping for more efficiency. Just need more data. And it’s coming
  14. Anyone have R2 highway driving range to share? (I'm sure the color you picked looks great)

EV9 is 2.7 over 35k miles, mostly on highway at 75-80mph
  15. Rivian AEB failure and crash

I have driven Teslas, bruh. Relax. Also, you don’t have to get around a Tesla if it doesn’t leave 10 car lengths and actually drives with traffic! I can be objective: appreciating FSD for what it does while acknowledging pain points for those on the road.
