To be clear, yes—the OP did say the entire software team should be fired. But again, there's context behind that sentiment. He’s not simply saying, “My truck has issues, so fire everyone.” He’s responding to what is clearly a broader, ongoing problem that’s affected many owners—like trucks...
Curious, as I work remote but, what is the difference between Driver+able and not? My Driver's assist does, well, literally nothing. It's just adaptive cruise control like I've always had.
Is it actually supposed to do something different?
You keep fixating on the word “explicit” like it’s a magic shield against being wrong. I never said someone literally typed “criticism is heresy.” I said that’s the vibe—and anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see it. The second someone posts a negative experience, the same crew...
Dramatic? That’s rich coming from someone spiraling because I pointed out a recurring pattern. I’m not “complaining about different opinions”—I’m calling out how this forum predictably turns hostile the second someone shares a negative experience. That’s not diversity of thought; it’s insecurity...
Point out where I explicitly said someone used the phrase 'criticism is heresy.' You won’t find it—because it’s not about the exact words, it’s about the pattern. The second anyone voices a negative experience with Rivian, the thread gets swarmed with defensive replies and downvotes. That...
I have to say, towing with the Rivian is great. Being mindful of the air suspension when hooking up was a eye-opener, but other than that it was awesome.
Need/Looking for 4, don't care if it has tires or not. Located back and forth in Florida and in Pennsylvania. Also willing to trade a set of 21" w/ tires(about 10k miles on set).
Ah, another Stanfield disciple rushing in to defend his messiah. Rivian’s not sacred—criticism isn’t heresy. This forum is starting to feel like an echo chamber where valid concerns get brushed off as “exaggerations” and buried in downvotes to protect fragile buyer pride.
And honestly, judging...
Like comparing a Tacoma to a Raptor. Different trucks, use cases, pros and cons. There's things I love about my Rivian, but I definitely miss the interior space of my old full size.
Sierra EV, Silverado EV, Hummer, Lightning, etc. It has plenty of competition.
I drove the Silverado the other day for shits. Truck is incredible. Lightning is meh.
