El Paso would be perfect. That is where our Subaru dealer is now. A quick 90 mile drive mostly on a 75 mph speed limit 4 lane highway with no traffic. I hope it happens.
I just tried it for a R1T and it said it could deliver to zip 88339 in 1 week......so I guess this changed.
And even before I think that might have just meant I had to pick it up vs it getting delivered.

Just wondered how many of you R2 buyers are going to add the Spare tire? I know modern tires are much better than years ago, but I have not been able to accept this new trend of cars not coming with spare tires. I have not had a car without one, and probably won't buy a new car if a spare is not...
I certainly hope so. But I was very clear with the Houston rep and he said that even if it is a warranty item they may not tow it.
I also read of a case where they had to tow from Alaska to Seattle and the owner had to pay. But that might not have been a warranty item.
We drove both R1 variants in Houston. And all they would say was that they did have mobile service people, and that they would not necessarily pay for towing long distances depending upon the issue.
