  1. Adjustment Period 12 months, 12,000 miles?

Yeah, when the local Service Rep was explaining the policy to me, I (put my Karen hat on and) politely asked for the manager. I was told he would reach out to me. Instead, I later got a revised and zero'd out work estimate, which I promptly signed....
  2. Adjustment Period 12 months, 12,000 miles?

Also, the thread on this topic that I missed has links to the earlier versions of the Warranty! https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/adjustment-warranty.17692/
  3. Adjustment Period 12 months, 12,000 miles?

Yeah, I should have downloaded a copy of the warranty when I took delivery in June of '22. I just emailed service and requested a copy. We'll see if they are able to provide one.
  4. Adjustment Period 12 months, 12,000 miles?

Thanks, I just saw that. Open for interpretation. Plus it was updated after my purchase, so.....
  5. Adjustment Period 12 months, 12,000 miles?

With service scheduled to repair my tailgate damper, I also wanted to address (again) the wind noise coming from the drivers side triangular window. When I saw a $100 charge on the work order, I was told that I am now outside the “adjustment period” that covers various noises, squeaks and...
  6. Restrooms @ charging stations

I’m speaking in general terms about barriers to widespread EV adoption. I’m in favor of it and I hate to see reasons to be dismissive from a consumer standpoint. In my case, I started at a RAN network at 9am at a Spokane, WA mall that didn’t open until 11am. I was traveling home, so had no...
  7. Restrooms @ charging stations

How does the industry not realize that any charge station without basic services like a restroom will do anything other than deter families from doing road trips in fully electric vehicles?
  8. EA days are numbered for me

EA is the worst. 3 of were out at the location in Ritzville, WA. Support was only interested in gather personal details “for security purposes”. After 10 minutes of zero help, the working charger freed up. I think EA is detrimental to further adoption of pure EV. Anyone considering, would...
  9. R1T Tailgate Soft Open Failed

My tailgate damper failed today. I heard a noise when I opened it. Then it wouldn’t close all the way. Service scheduled. I had to remove the damper bolt to get the tailgate to close…

  11. R3X Reveal Shocks Even More!!! ?

How low will it go! Give it a "slammed" setting on air ride for the urban settings... ; )
  12. HV battery / drive unit replacement experiences?

In for service for stuck tailgate on my R1T LE among other minor things, including a clunking sound slow over bumps. I was just quoted about 2 weeks for a replacement front drive unit, control arms and likely "update" subframe. A week alone to get parts. I'm glad they are being proactive and...
  13. Tires swap for this winter in PDX?

I've got the stock Pirelli All Terrain tires and am not planning on swapping. The only time I had trouble was heading up to Timberline Lodge. I just had to slow it down as in was icy roads but a warmish day, so a day where studded tires would have been best...
