    I sent my R1T to Rivian because it wasn't charging. The truck said, "Charging error: please unplug and plug back in." I tried all but a level 3 charger. Rivian got my truck, plugged it into a level 3 charger, and it worked, then a level 2 charger, and it worked, and lastly, a level 1 charger...

  9. Has anyone towed their Rivian R1T on a car carrier?

    We are moving in the next few weeks. My wife has a Lincoln Navigator L with a towing capacity of 8,000 lbs. I was hoping to drive her car while towing my Rivian R1T. Has anyone done this? Is it possible, or does the Rivian weigh too much? And, if it's possible, what car carrier did you use?

    That's possible?!?! I quite literally have yet to have my phone charge for more than a minute. It either can't find the connection or finds it, then slides off the minute I move the car.

    Yup, I only use Bluetooth audio now, so I can leave Waze open and listen to podcasts while my phone is plugged in since their wireless charger is garbage.

    Does this ever get too hot sitting on top of the coils? If I plug my phone in with a lightning cable and leave it on the pad, sometimes the wireless charger kicks in, and my phone gets toasty.

    R1T can't do this. It will only launch Alexa and there is no setting (yet) that allows you to use your phone's virtual assistant.

    It looks like it's fighting whether to show you light or dark mode. See if there is a setting to shut it off from automatically changing screen appearance to test if that's the issue.
