  1. Pebble Flow Electric RV Trailer - My First Journey Towing With R1T

Good Grok, bad Grok. 😂 I think the assumptions are incorrect. The Pebble is not going to be at 10% when you pull up to a charger. It's going to be something higher than that. You aren't actually charging 10 to 80 on both at the same time. That's why I asked an actual owner of the Pebble what...
  2. What’s Coming in Rivian’s 2026.15.30 Hotfix

When changing lanes manually I usually use the short turn signal. But I tested the long turn signal today and it seemed to turn off right when I wanted it to: immediately when lane centering engaged in the new lane. Does it not do this with automatic lane change? I have found that you can...
  3. What’s Coming in Rivian’s 2026.15.30 Hotfix

I just had to reboot the truck again because adaptive cruise was not working and I was getting front sensor errors. It asked me to enable the same "precise location tracking" permission that I did before. And all the privacy settings for lane centering (and I assume A+) needed to be selected...
  4. Pebble Flow Electric RV Trailer - My First Journey Towing With R1T

I assume you are parking the Pebble at a charger so it can charge while you charge the truck? Which finishes first?
  5. CEO RJ Scaringe gets $403M Pay Package

    Buy more stuff.
  6. Why stock getting hammered last few days?

I am with you and please don't paint everyone in the forum with the same brush. There are some reasonable, rational people here. I am a huge Rivian fan, and also a huge Tesla fan. Rivian just fits my use case better.
  7. Rival: 2026 BMW iX3 reviews are impressive... R2 has its work cut out

Impressive. It would be nice if the article provided some information about how the test was conducted. Average and top speed would be good. Ambient temperature would also be helpful. Was it a mix of higher speed highway and lower speed city with lots of stop and go traffic? No stop and go...
  8. My turn! To close the garage door while opening the tailgate.

This thread reminded me of how I damaged the hood of my truck in the first week of ownership. I was testing how it opens, and I realized after hitting the button that it was going to hit the ladder hanging from the ceiling of my garage. I tried to stop the hood from opening by holding it...
  9. R2 as our only car

Due to the distance from the closest service center, and since you want it to be your only vehicle, I highly recommend you wait for the Gen3 R2 instead of getting one of the first production vehicles. All manufacturing processes get better over time, and first year production can be much worse...
  10. What’s Coming in Rivian’s 2026.15.30 Hotfix

He posted in this forum about it also, but I can't remember which thread.
  11. What’s Coming in Rivian’s 2026.15.30 Hotfix

This happened to me as well and I fixed it by rebooting the truck. When everything comes back up, a message will be on the display asking you to approve location tracking. There are also some additional selections you need to make in the Privacy tab to give the truck the permissions it needs...
  12. Why stock getting hammered last few days?

You can do the same thing with a IRA to Roth conversion. Take the tax hit now and all future growth will be untaxed. There is a lot of pessimism in this thread, and it is warranted. But I am optimistic that Rivian can make it on their own. The R2 must be cash flow positive. It's required. It...
  13. Self driving update: Gen 2 and Gen 3 Autonomy on R2 should be similar for a "couple of years"

Right. Whatever you say. It must be true.
  14. Self driving update: Gen 2 and Gen 3 Autonomy on R2 should be similar for a "couple of years"

Good points. The cost to produce a Cybercab is likely less than the cost to produce the M3. And I assume the cost to produce the M3 is actually higher than what you say was reported, without any sources to back it up. So the cost to produce a Cybercab is $31k. 👍
