I would say it's teething pains. Tesla Service was awful at first. Six weeks for front suspension parts (I skidded on black ice). It will likely take a couple of years or so to get competent.

Just a comment for those watching...the Model X is a crossover, while the R1S is an SUV. Similar, but not the same, hence some of the differences in utility. I try to remind people of that.
Not surprised about the suspension given that they're going for lower cost. I imagine that most buyers won't care as they're probably around-town drivers, not off-roaders. I have it on my Model X and I use it, but I wouldn't really miss it if it were gone.
The dip**** that said you can't recharge an electric truck until you run it all the way down. There were other incredibly stupid comments he made, but there were so many I can't remember all of them.
As a Tesla owner, I thank you for trying to keep charger spots open for others. We appreciate you're being a good EV citizen.
There are Superchargers at which I've stopped that have a spot for those towing, but there needs to be more. We support you.
Thanks for that info. More Rivian owners should be made aware of it, if they're not already. (They should also put a bit of PPF where they tap their ring to prevent scratching. There are some for Tesla.)
