Certainly a possibility. The last response I got from the service center was that they can push an individual OTA just to my truck for whatever software fixes necessary. He did not think it was widespread (or had no information to support it being widespread).
FWIW - Update.
I picked up the truck last night from the service center. The report from the technician was that they could not diagnose the blinking tail lights. They indicated that was a normal function when a key or phone is within range for proximity functionality. In my case, there was no...
Thank you.
Updates on my end:
One thing I noticed yesterday was the vehicle was not getting up to the full charge that it was set to (70%). It would get to 69% and then it seemed the connection/handshake failed - the green light turned to a white flashing light.
The charger I’m using is not...
Thank you.
I do have an RR account, just not the paid one (yet) to see the deeper data.
the tonneau works fine. No issues.
Wonder if this is a new thing.
Gen2 R1T owner searching for answers on a similar/same issue. Two days ago I noticed the rear lights (just the turn signal portions, L and R, not the whole bar) blinking about every 60 seconds or so. I only noticed this as I was parked outside at night as we are traveling away from home. Then...
Just dropped off my truck in Fort Wayne for service and was chatting with them about the service center in Fishers. The Rivian employee in Fort Wayne thinks the Fishers location will be open around June. Hopefully he is correct!
If anyone is willing to post a picture of the boards with the drivers side door open that would be appreciated (from an angle of entry to the vehicle).
On the road this morning and if I really floor it, I can feel a bump/downshift sensation. It’s not jarring, so that’s positive. But in a reasonably quick acceleration, but not a sudden and all in flooring of the throttle, I don’t notice anything. Hopefully it stays this way.
The R1T dual I...
I've only had my R1T for 40 days, but I have not noticed any difference when the rear motor stops or starts (FWD to AWD or vice versa). I have kept the truck in All Purpose almost the full time I have had it (snow mode for a bit as we had a nice 12" two weeks ago). Not sure if I'm just not...
Answering for myself - I think - if the unexteded length of the Rivian Crossbar is 63.8” then there is 31.9” of t-slot space on each side, minus the recommended setback of 3.5”. Once I get all of this done I’ll follow up with a report…in case anyone wants to know if four 1-Up trays fit.
