I don’t believe it’s a user error. It seems to have happened to me at the Falls station and is most likely a brief interruption of the internet signal. The tesla app closes and the Rivian continues the charge under their rate.

I tried that -removed the CC from Rivian since I could add it on if/when needed. HOWEVER, the Tesla app would not work then despite a CC on that app that was different. I had to add on the CC again with Rivian which then allows them to bill it when they HiJACK a session!

Using the Tesla App because I have the membership. The Falls have 20 chargers so it's convenient to go there. I have not had that issue at the North Miami Beach/Target location. And since the other EV charging companies are not part of the Rivian/Tesla deal-have not had that issue with any other...
