Welcome to S.A.U.S.A.G.E. Support for Audio over USB System Antiquation Group Enthusiast. Please browse our many threads about the loss of USB audio and feel free to sign my petition. It's up to 115 signatures. I can feel Rivian corporate shaking in their boots from here. :) They just don't...
  2. FM receiver equipped phone to prevent radio lag?

Which mp3 player were you able to connect via BT successfully?
  3. Long Awaited R1S Sub Upgrade! TubThumper for R1S Gen1 and Gen2

FYI. Here is an option to use that spare stud with a fuse block. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/fuse-for-spare-12-volt-post-in-battery-adding-12-volt-accessory-to-battery-etc.48154/#post-835940
  4. New owner - crackling sound by drivers display

FYI for anyone trying to find that noise. There is a little fan under the steering column. You can cover the opening with your finger and the noise should stop. You can see it with a flashlight, or poke it with a toothpick. It's so tiny!
  5. Teardown: R1S Audio Unit under drivers seat and speaker harness pinnout.

Update on the sound system. See below for subwoofer results. I did more testing on the system and figured out what I don't like about the setup from the front. The crossover point between the front door and dash is at about 350hz. I would prefer it be set at around 3500hz. So currently most of...
  6. R1S DIY fix for liftgate noise/creaking when moving -- lubricate gasket on the liftgate

In case you have this issue. After a couple of years my liftgate/tailgate area started creaking when in motion. Sounded kind of like styrofoam rubbing. After taking things apart with no success, I found the culprit while cleaning. It's the gasket on the liftgate. It's attached mechanically so it...
  7. Diving Into Gen2 Standard Audio to Add a Subwoofer

That's interesting. So there was no vacant space in the middle? The front door connector (looks the same) has vacant space in the middle. It also has a third connector there, that has the two coax cables for the cameras. I guess it's different. I pushed wires thru the front door.
  8. Cost to remove item from under seat

15 mm socket. You may be able to just lean it back in place. For a gen 1 vehicle. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/teardown-r1s-audio-unit-under-drivers-seat-and-speaker-harness-pinnout.17077/
  9. Teardown: R1S Audio Unit under drivers seat and speaker harness pinnout.

You were right. The drawing was wrong. I updated it. Subwoofer polarity was backwards and probably all of them was reversed on the drawing. Doing some more work on the audio now.
  10. How to get under middle console?

    Might try this. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/center-console-disassembly-anyone.24042/
  11. Electric Providers In Texas

I guess they offer different plans to different locations. I have this TXU plan now, and it's still on their web site for my zip code. The rate is is about the same but I use it for the free night usage.
  12. Anyone know how to remove the door panel?

You can try this. My gen 1 front doors had one extra screw that he does not show or it does not have. The rest was the same. You mentioned the back, and this is a back door so maybe that's the difference. It was was easy to remove. 9/16/25 This one has all of the screws.
