I wish I would have had this update on my '22 R1T with 20K miles on it actually. My 12v went out on me and was unable to drive and I had to end up paying about $700 for replacement. It made me fearful as every 3 years I was going to replace these things, but at least glad now they have...
Right now I have this update afterwards my adaptive cruise control needs servicing and does not work. I have done both a hard and soft reset, check and cleaned all the sensors with no luck.
Yea my only reason for using the conserve mode was the fact that up in the UP (upper peninsula) of Michigan chargers are nearly 200 miles apart and with the below freezing temps it was cutting it close! I am all for more chargers :)
So I am just going to chime in here. Do NOT use conserve mode on icy roads. I almost had a huge crash as a result.
Driving from Escanaba to Marquette on a snowy and icy day I was in conserve mode. A large semi was coming at me on a 2 lane road (this is a desolate area) and I moved over in...
I will say, I was dead set on a Toyota Landcruiser and then I went for a ride at the 2025 Detroit auto show in a R1T..........and look at me now, proud R1T owner :)
Here is my 2022 R1T Quad that I bought used on this forum in Denver. Currently live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and enjoy mountain biking. Never had a pickup before, only SUV's, and I can't believe I went this long without one...
I absolutely love the gear tunnel and it is an absolute hoot to...
I am curious how this goes I live in the GR area and my 2022 Quad just went into turtle mode (I take my vehicle to this SC). It has been there for 2 days and is getting checked out...
Oh my gosh thank you!!! I had the service center do my dash and speaker (which I had to pay for...) but could not figure out later I still had a rattle to the left of the center dash near my steering wheel. I just completed this on lunch in the driveway and could tap that plastic piece and...

I returned it and bought a Rivian specific one on FB Marketplace, which reminds me I need to try it at the supercharger which is compatible near my house before a trip.
Yup, I had it on my drive back as I purchased the vehicle in Denver and drove it back to Michigan. I had the filter applied on the chargers for "adapter needed" and confirmed this as it was not a 150 KW or older Tesla one. Saw a Lightening charging two spots down. It was my first time using...
How do you precondition the battery? I own a Tesla and know to punch it into GPS but I was under the impression the battery didn't need to be with a Rivian? I had this issue driving across the country with a Tesla adaptor that should have worked but didn't. I tried like 5 times and selected...
