2022 R1T with 25k+ miles: No 12v issues.
2024 R1S with 15k miles: 12v died overnight.
Seems like as others have said they should be able to give some warning by closely monitoring 12v battery vitals.
Limestone exterior and Black Mountain interior. 26,976 miles.
This truck has the 12v outlets under the dash, as well as in the frunk.
It came from the factory with:
-22" Sport Dark wheel and tire
-Reinforced Underbody Shield
-Powered Tonneau Cover
-Full size spare
-Quad Motor
-Large pack...
I filed mine 5/16/23 and received it 3/4/24. Felt like foreeeeever. Did get interest though. Which of course you owe taxes on...and the cycle continues.
Yep...I paid after delivery was scheduled, just 3 days beforehand. Then, less than 24 hours before delivery, I was informed of the repairs needed. What else can you do...
Adding to this thread again, this time for the R1S.
Scheduled the pick up for 4/22 at 9:30AM. Completed all steps including wiring the down payment and sending lender check for the balance. On 4/21 at 1pm, received a call saying that while the R1S was being transferred from offsite secure...
We were all set to pick up our R1S tomorrow after 1,508 days. However, got a call today that some service codes were being thrown necessitating the replacement of the drive unit. Sigh.
After visiting the Costa Mesa service center in person and seeing it filled to the gills with new R1's, and hearing similar stories from others in this forum from other service centers, I'm optimistic that the Q1 delivery numbers will be robust...
