Out of curiosity, I looked up the cd on my 1st Gen Nissan Leaf. It is 0.28. It's absolutely phenomenal that Rivian is able to get 0.28-0.29 on the R2!

R2 goes to RWD, not FWD.

Fair enough. FWIW, I use Android Auto in one of my cars, and in that car at least, AA does take over every pixel of the Infotainment screen. While I've never used Carplay, I'm pretty sure it would do the same in that car.

Info added. While I don't own and R1, I do have driving privelages on one and have that in my Rivian account. I'm hoping that helps me move up the list... ;-) Ron

I'm always confused when I see posts like this. If you haven't bought a Rivian because of this and won't buy one in the future, why are you on a Rivian only forum?

Just a thought, but since all of the starting cars will be LE's, the ability to pre-build them to have them in the pipeline should be pretty easy. Aside from color and wheel choice, everything else is just an accessory. Even wheels could easily be replaced and a new Monroney could be printed...
