I use an Emporia charger, works great on my Tesla and Rivian. My charger is a J1772 and I use an adapter for the Tesla but they have a J3400 version. You can check out a web site called State of Charge, Tom Moloughney tests a lot of chargers and rates them.

It is really not that big a deal, it has soft-close so you just need to pull it down. Not like the two handed process required with my Model S to securely close without putting dents in the hood.

I guess it depends on where you live. I’m happy with my AT&T service, I’ve had it for decades.

It is the extra power from the cars antenna and receiver. There are places in Yellowstone where the car will get some reception and a hand held phone will not.

Tesla does use AT&T.

I think people misjudge the drag coefficient value of the Rivian designs. It really is pretty efficient. I have not seen numbers for the R2 but looking at the R1S Rivian does a lot of work to eliminate negative pressure areas that kill the efficiency. It is more about creating a smooth flow...
