Keep getting pulled back in...
I was pro-Rivian when I made the reservation, I surf, ski/snowboard, hike, wake surf, bike, etc. We had such a positive experience with Tesla, I was willing to gamble on an EV adventure vehicle at a higher price point from a new company. Years of delays, the IPO ->...
Quick last post because I think sexism should be dealt with pro-actively.
The Rivian is mine (registered and owned), Tesla Model Y (registered and owned) is my wife's car. It really shouldn't matter anyway, no one on this forum should be accused of being or feel "emasculated". To the people in...
Content doesn't have to be balanced *by user.* The issue with this particular forum is the number of vitriolic pro-Rivian members that flood into every thread to bash owners that post bad experiences. These folks are not high quality people and some of them are incredibly financially...
I actually have only owned Rivian shares (bought pre-IPO and sold almost all of them for a small profit), and I still own a few shares.
However, if you look through the history a lot of the RJ fanboys keep averaging down and thus have massive financial conflicts of interest. I'm still waiting...
I have been incredibly consistent:

So which of you will reject the NACS adapter offer? Let's see your consistency in action.
This forum needs balanced content for potential owners. If you look at my posting history you will see consistent criticism of the charging experience/infrastructure and contrasts with Tesla. Of course, I'm going to post when my lived experience continues to support those views.
I would...
Arrived in Bishop with 56 miles of range, started in Mammoth with 98.
We would not have made it without the two charging sessions, so thank you to Tesla and the Mammoth Recreation Center for publicly available and free level-2 charging.
Mostly right, I don't know about plenty of juice, I'll post once we are down the mountain. When I left the Tesla charging station last night range said 115, app says 99 miles right now. We won't be leaving for several more hours.
93-16 = 77 if I didn't charge last night, seems a little dicey.
So true, I completely kooked out and I wasn't on fifth chair up, I didn't snag 2 hours of pow lines, and I'm definitely not enjoying fresh lines with my son who is absolutely ripping today.
Enjoy trolling the forums boys...
Guilty as charged. Any mention of Tesla or Elon and the RJ fanboys lose their minds, it just so happens the title is true and there's a broader point I was trying to to make...CCS infrastructure SUCKS and Rivian will get a huge boost from the opportunity to use the supercharger network, hence...
This isn't a planning failure on my part. I haven't run out of charge, according to most people in the thread I have enough to get down the mountain. It was 47 degrees on Tuesday and a storm came out of nowhere and dropped temps to 5 degrees.
I was planning appropriately, we would have left...
