Aren’t the battery and drivetrain components covered by the warranty out to 150000 miles?
My biggest concern with the R1 has always been that suspension. I’ve never liked air suspensions because the components are expensive. It’s one reason I’m going to buy an R2, or preferably an R3X, when my...
I’m curious how folks are burning through brakes so much. I drive through the Rocky Mountains and I almost never touch my brake pedal. I’ve never had to replace a pad on any of my three Rivians.
The biggest issue I have with my Gen2 is locking and unlocking at home. I have my R1S set so it won’t use proximity to unlock when I’m at home. If I have it on, the car will unlock every time I go to the pantry (right next to the garage) then it will lock a few seconds later.

It’s interesting. I put in my reservation within the first couple minutes or so as well. I’ve owned three Rivians, live close to the Louisville, CO service center but still haven’t gotten an invite. I wonder if the fact that I leased an R1S last year, plays into the equation. Do they think that...
My Grandpa used to always say that if you try to sell your product by tearing down your competition, then you’re product isn’t very good. RJ knows his product is very,, VERY good. Also, I think RJ appreciates what Tesla has built. He calls the Tesla Model 3 and Y a monopoly but points out that...
