btw, if anyone is going to drive around out there, PM me if interested in a pretty cool overlanding campsite on granite that you can have a fire at, that has a creek running through. its pretty close to the start of the road up shuteye.
yup, when the snow melts until the snow falls there is someone up there. they are there for a couple week stints. they are totally happy to show you around their humble abode, and answer questions. its one of the oldest fire lookouts and the viewpoint lets you see a ton of area of forest
Made it all the way up (and back) to the fire lookout at Shuteye a few years back. Great trail and there are some segments there that are pretty challenging. Lots of fun but also some battle scars on the rock sliders. Highly recommend going all the way to the top and having a chat with the fire...
I received these and did it this weekend.
Overall, easier than I thought, but there is a learning curve.
Hardest piece was the rear tailgate window by far. Between the size, the window curvature, and the defrost lines, there was a lot more fingers and eventually creases with trying to smooth...
lol, yeah i feel you there!
Placed an order for 50%, simply because black interior i think makes it look darker and trying my best to avoid a CA fix-it ticket...
in the video, you apply 50% VIR in the front, but the website recommends 35% VIR on the front. Wondering why the difference? Did you decide after installing you wanted darker?
Also, seems like ebay has some gen1 used rear cameras. Wondering if there is a difference in connections/interoperability between the gen 1 and gen 2 cameras (knowing the gen2 are much improved)
