I posted this in another thread. I picked up my 2026 R1T a month ago and it has the OLD charger. I have reached out to the service center and have an appointment to assess. They did not give me any idea of swapping was possible, but told me to come in. Will report back.

Asking does no harm but put it on their radar. I have a very good relationship with my service center since I live 5 minutes away.

I just picked up a 2026 Tri R1T. Definitely got the J1772. It says that on the order. Did not see the DC adapter anywhere. I ordered one with reward points. If I overlooked it, please let me know where they stashed it.

I would be happy as a starter just to put eyes on it. You would think given their second HQ is here we should get a shot soon!

I literally had to message and email over and over to get someone on phone. Once on phone, found out was a QC problem with vehicle and no one knew when was ready. While on phone we picked one out that was ready to go then I had it within 2 weeks. The lack of sales assistance is frustrating...

have not been able to determine yet. Only 24 hours in. I know when it sleeps it does.

OK my last comment on the subject because it's just frickin' hilarious. My 85 year old hard of hearing father walked in from the garage after my wife got home and said "is that thing suppose to make all that noise"? ha ha ha ha

I had read that previously. I have limited exposure thus far, but the A/C is working well so far. It's really just the outside noise. Cannot really hear it inside, so I suppose not a huge deal yet. But in the garage, it's particularly loud due to being enclosed.

Yea we had 2 Gen 1s. Its way louder in my opinion. Like a lot.

Love the vehicle. Literally just picked it up. Have not had much exposure yet, but it sounds like a jet engine from the HVAC. Let me say this is from the outside. Inside cannot hear it. Is that everyone's experience?
