    I dont understand why you needed brakes so fast. I have 40k and 30k on ours and barely signs of wear. Understand you say you rode hard and put away wet so that must be the difference. 7 total years between our 2. 1 half day service visit and 1 msu to home garage to fix pinched windshield...

    It will stop just fine and of course have regular brake. Besides coming off a freeway offramp at 80mph I have used my brake approximately 1% of time while owning Rivians. You will love it.

    Vision only systems, in our car by some other mfg, in about 30% of nights tell me they are degraded and can't work. So not sure how that ever becomes driverless

    Im with those rhat say Rivian should work with customer or put a major warning tag on these areas when new on items to avoid. However, op can maybe ask for human leather replacement as it holds up to chemicals and no animals are harmed. It also follows Rivian environmental focus, less humans...

  11. R2 teething/early issues -- new owner needs flatbed 4 hours after delivery

    Such a better solution for towing and oh, not having to back in. I assume for rear model less wires etc but like the front passenger solution since we "must" work to V2 that v3/4 and other companies have rectified with longer cords.

    Dont agree on crazy long range, 260 miles is plenty and haven't had to "plan" a trip in 2 years as so many new stations every week. I live in Kansas so not the most populated part of the country and still plenty of chargers. 10 to 60% in 20 minutes has plenty of drive time and a good refresh...

    I drive EV's because they are more fun to drive. As well as much cheaper for me since I have solar. I still have 2 ICE cars but now loathe going to gas station like I'm a former smoker going into a house full of smoke. Can't wait to try an R2 out and see if we can get close to the 4 hours.
