  1. R2's A/C performance in really hot weather?

Does R2 have option to blur your roof like Rivian R1T. Sorry forgot what it is called. Sound and vision package? Or do you have roof shade. Is there 3rd party roof shade in market?
  2. Parking the R2 in the garage

Self parking is suppose to launch this year. I am waiting for that one.
  3. Parking the R2 in the garage

    Same here.
  4. Parking the R2 in the garage

I don't think removing seat belt put it on park. Opening door.... Yes. Tesla will do that. Removing seat belt or opening door.
  5. Parking the R2 in the garage

It can be done. Press accelerator slowly it will start creeping forward or backward. Don't be a lead foot. I do it everyday. Without break. It can go as slow as 0.5 mph.
  6. Rivian AEB failure and crash

Not only that, but there rear assist break RAB is a super mess as well. I don't trust there autonomous drive as well. Didn't had any issues but still the comfort level is not there.
  7. Market Reality Check: When do Gen 2 Quads drop to double digits?

For my R1T 2025 TM with 19000. Only 70000. Rejected the offer.
  8. Indianapolis to Maine road trip (via Philly and Boston) - 2200 miles

I also did around 1700 miles trip. No issues other than seat belt ding when my kid was buckled up. Charging no issue. UHF no issue. This trip was just 3 days before free UHF expired. The recent update is to blame for all the nonsense. My GPS now shows my vehicle position like 2 streets away or...
  9. Very Slow App Response since last updste

After update my infotainment went crazy. Screen frozen. Lots of other issues. Restart by pressing those 2 outer buttons. Problem solved. Then while driving, autonomy+ fault. No more autonomy driving. Hard reset this time, problem solved. So far no more issues. Touch wood.
  10. 500-800 miles from Service Center......from those with Rivian experience....how risky will this be?

So far none of my repairs were denied. I don't know if you are referring to after warranty period issues, then I am not sure. Tow, again if needed within warranty period, is included (or should be included).
  11. 500-800 miles from Service Center......from those with Rivian experience....how risky will this be?

Mobile service is your answer. They can perform almost 75% out of the mobile van if needed. If not then I remember that tow to the service center when within warranty is free regardless of how far you live. Again confirm with some service center. When I got my Gen 1 R1T that's what I was told...
  12. Rivian Communication RAP1+Lidar

If I am that concerned. Yes I will do that. If not that much difference buyout my lease. If there is a big difference, buy a latest one after my lease ends.
  13. Rivian Autonomy+ vs Subaru Eyesight

I loved subaru eyesight as well. It's free and in traffic jam or stop and go traffic I found it one of the best so far. Rivian will leave a safety gap of almost car and a half giving other cars chance to unnecessarily merge when that was not the intention. Also rear assist break on subaru is...
  14. Trip Report: Minnesota to Utah & AZ National Monuments

I am one of those looser who will buy sports car and drive it at 65 mph. I need efficiency. I am not that much of a 0-60 kind of person. I might have got dual max in that case but meh.. I like this one minus efficiency.
  15. Trip Report: Minnesota to Utah & AZ National Monuments

I hope R2 will be better. Fingers crossed. It's only efficiency that I don't like about r1t. Other then that I love that truck.
