I also hope that they make something for the Rivian / regular hitch to mount this (I know there are many products out there) in some creative way to make it easy to lug around. My current setup works for a road bike but I wont be able to lift this e-bike into that position.
Great review. Its interesting how the configs are based on your ride style, on or off road which isn't just what kind of tires you want but other configuration things that seem to happen. I do both. I ride an Aventon today with big thick tires on and off road. So wonder how that works? Also it...
Other then the concerns around yet another new car/EV maker and if they can make it, my main issues on them has been style. I'm not young, but the sedan looks like my grandfather's car from many angles. And the choice of trunk over hatch kills it forever for me. I'll never have another trunk...
Still running the original 20" Pirelli ATs on my quad R1T (2023). Just over 28K miles on it. They're noisy at times but not worth changing until its time. Will definitely look for something quieter when its time. I dont really need ATs but liked the looks. Mileage and sound and good all season...
I loved the concept of the camp speaker but every time I use it I have to fight with it to do basic things like playing music. Versus cheap bluetooth speakers I have on my bike its overly complex and quirky. Other than the powered tonneau which they pulled from my order its the largest...
I have a similar issue but I just let it proximity unlock and it unlocks/re-locks itself constantly if I or my wife are within the longish range of it. Its annoying but at home its in my garage and I dont have any security concerns. If I was in a more populated area i'd be concerned.
No, I said earlier I've never owned an ultra. Its more expensive than the Garmin, and the features Apple (all that connectivity stuff) has are less important than the health/fitness and basic notifications I get with Garmin. I can wear the garmin and track activity for 8 days straight. It has...
Im assuming you've never used a Garmin, but that experience isn't correct. The garmin is connected, gives you messages, etc. I dont do phone calls on it, never did on the apple watch. And I cant open my Tesla but that experience sucked. I switched from apple watch at the 7th Gen (I had all the...
You're missing the point. Doing this for Rivian (forget Apple/Garmin) at all is a waste.
Like first make it so I can open my garage doors when i'm in reverse and all sorts of other basic software things for driver quality of life. Dont waste the time on gimmicks.
I am a developer but no, I wouldn't do it for either. Rivian's market share itself would kill it, forget about Garmin.
Even on the Tesla the apple watch support is more of a gimmick than a real value.
