I'm on a Gen 1 and never had issues until recently. Both of our Android phones (Fold and Ultra) now struggle to unlock or start the car. At home, I don’t keep it locked, and sometimes I just sit inside waiting for it to connect. Not sure if it’s a recent phone update or a Rivian update, but...

before i rip out my console, if anyone has the buck converter and newish android phone, can you plug it directly into the buck converter to see if you get super fast charge mode? thanks in advance.

Is there a way to mount this below the display? 3d printed vent mounts or bracket to tape to display backside? I rather block the vents then to have it stick above and squeeze into dash. I don't need to look at the display so much.

i logged in to place my reservation and then caught the tail end of the reveal. i saw the silver/blue car and immediately thought of the 'Pacer' and lost a bit of excitement. then just now found out that car was the R3. and the R2 looks awesome! woohooo. i need one now!

That was the plan until I saw all the nooks and crannies under those panels. I had just washed off all the road salt prior to removing the panels and dirty thoughts filled my mind; you know - rock chips, squirrels, salt, rain..

i finished my install of the running boards recently. i did the advanced L method and i printed the template on sticker paper. it was a lot easier and quicker that i thought to remove the panels and install the RBs; about 1.5 hours per side (without remounting the panels). luckily i big torque...

i'm looking to modify this with a usb-c jack. the magsafe chargers don't charge fast enough on my phone (android with magsafe case). i think getting a usb-a male to usb-c female cable. would that work with that buck convertor? for the times i need quick charge, i can use the cable. thoughts?

everything seems fine to me. originally i installed it manually and at somepoint changed to the HACS install.

sorry, it was a bad joke (i left a hint). i got into the M5 and tried to put it into reverse by pulling the wiper stalk. then i almost rolled into the street because it didn't have brake regen. lol

I was backing out of the garage today and the wipers went crazy as I tried to put it in reverse. Then at the end of my driveway, I almost rolled into the street. This ever happen to you? Any ideas on what it is? I've owned the R1S for almost 2 months now. Hint:
