My guide said that a small batch of covers were sent out in error. Said to expect an email with shipping info in a few weeks.

Week and a half later, this is what fixed my truck. I asked the mobile tech at the time if he could just try replacing with another set of 12V batteries but he said it wouldn’t work. Wish we didn’t have to get it towed in to confirm that was the issue.

Yeah I’m amazed that Rivian doesn’t have a contingency for this. There should be a way for the tech to somehow bypass the 12V system with a jump box so that the OTA could be applied. Poor girl has been towed away :(

Started getting intermittent messages about getting 12V service after the .10 update. That was about a month ago, nothing that affected vehicle performance. Just had the 12V batteries replaced by mobile service and now the car is bricked. Something about the software being too old and the car...

I’ve been getting the exact same message about cooling displays. It’s happening even on cool days in the 60s, one time the internal temperature showed 93 (no way in shade). Also seems to be happening when I’m nearby with phone, but no way to tell if it’s happening more when I’m not around unless...

Dual EV for six months now and loving it. Tesla S is a great complement to the R1T, and one home charger is plenty. Have never had the need to charge both at the same time. Also, an adapter takes care of switching between them. Like having access to the Tesla network and the better efficiency...

In the same boat. They just said I was flagged by remote diagnostics but I haven’t noticed anything on my end. It’s nice to know that Rivian is watching over us ?
