So I assume all those spreading FUD are now going to downgrade to the old thinner ones to have a better “fuse” to protect whatever they think they were protecting previously that was perfectly “engineered” originally hahaha
Maybe you got the ones they advertise as "PPE 158030200 TIE ROD SLEEVES POLISHED - GM/NAPA 2001-2010" on their site!? Those are polished and perhaps smaller as older vehicle.
However, I measured mine at the rod just past the threads where the sleeve ends (before it widens and is solid shaft)...
I have not got any shake again that would put my arm to sleep, drive me nuts, or similar. I can’t say not getting any as still get some brief feedback over the larger road imperfections but don’t think mine will ever be perfect. It’s MUCH better.
You are not wrong. It’s simply continues to send the stress to go the components that are much beefier like the knuckle, suspension arms, and ultimately frame. The tie rods are just the weak link stuck in middle. Nothing really interesting about this mod as many people been doing this for many...
Bummer. I still get a little shake with larger road imperfections but still much improved. It is now like the loaner R1T I had last time took it in so not sure it will ever be as good as my other vehicles.
There is a YouTube video for this mod from a vendor that helped, but thought would add some info here as actually even easier then might be thought. This in general is a really easy install for those willing and surprised more are not doing this so will go into some details. Priced well and I...
Fairly sure found fix so created new thread:

Spoiler alert .......................................... mine was related to too much toe in! One full turn of tie rod out for more toe out and it is MUCH better.
Figured would start new thread on this but there are a few related posts out there. From day one on OEM and then aftermarket wheels...
Zero rub on my setup. I even just had to go take another look at my fender wells for anything I might have missed hearing and no signs of rub anywhere. I have been running Standard height with the old Soft or new Mid firmness setting 98% of time for last year, but have thrown it into corners at...
Another update if anyone is following still LOL.
Had service appointment over a month ago and even though tech agreed it was excessive and thought could get me taking care of they just chalked it up to normal essentially and gave it back.
I was not too happy and was reminded of the service...
Not sure how mine got put down as OEM wheels on the table and that is incorrect. I run Thuren wheels as known to fit my 35's. Not sure what would do on OEM as even the few times I have run lowest setting on the Thuren's I have had zero rub, so not sure with what wheel offsets/height/ride...
Hey CJ,
Sorry late reply, was not getting notifications ...
Yeah, the MORRFlate system is very nice combined with the TC-BL pump. Just keeping my fingers crossed it lasts. I even reached out to MORRFlate and others to please consider making A/C versions of their nice pumps as several...
I put together the below video as struggled to find a portable and faster air pump to run off the inverter. It morphed into further testing/discussions about how to get faster inflation/deflation times with a four tire inflation system as well as covering some stuff on air pressures (mostly for...
