The longer I drive my early 22 r1t the more I realize Rivian DID NOT test/validate their vehicles in hot humid places. Soo many issues here related to the HVAC unit.

bug. I have it too, sometimes it shows arrival soc higher than starting. It's really buggy, the first update that was super buggy for me. gen1 here too. I have the different graphs and displays freeze, and my battery temp stays pegged at 100deg.

I really hope there's a serviceable replacement glass for the lidar. I can only imagine how expensive replacing that will cost from a rock.

I don't get why we can't have some things standard. Some legacy things should stay legacy BECAUSE THEY freaking work!. I'm most irked about the prox lock unlock, and the random soft resets while driving.

several nissan/dodge cabin filters fit the rivian. Dimensions are negligible on the size. If you buy the wix xp branded filters they both use the same manufacturer as the stock rivian filter. WIX 24479XP

So I spent the better part of an hour looking where I could get access to the evaporator coil. Rivian put the blower inbetween the dash and firewall with a turnstile freshair/recirc . I tried putting my scope in the recirc intake in the footwell without any luck. I'll order an articulating tip...

I'm in the same boat with allot less issues. Except rivians trade in quote was really low for my launch edition. My delivery is scheduled next week.

yup! I had a leaking air bag I paid outside of warranty. Went and bought an extended warranty after that !

But the difference is, "simple" handles rarely fail. My r1t handle is stuck out. It's common and really unnecessary if they used a traditional design.

Can u add a sim support? I have a spare data sim.

I like the current CCS plus nacs adapter. I like the flexibility. Is there an adapter the other way for non Tesla?
