So here is what the inside of the Pirelli looked like. There was no hard pothole hit or curb contact and it seems layers of rubber delaminated from the steel belt on both sides. The black on black picture makes it hard to see, but the bubble on the inside runs to the center of the tread and...
Thanks to everyone who replied. I'm down to these two:
GOODYEAR WRANGLER ELECTRICDRIVE AT
Pro - Looks pretty aggressive and has the sound attenuating feature.
Con - Can't find much about them from actual owners online .
MICHELIN DEFENDER LTX M/S2
Pro - Owners seem happy with them. Better...
Looking for something that "looks" off road but is less loud. The most off road I go is construction sites and flooded roads š.
Also the truck lives down south so l don't need winter or all season tires
My factory original tire seems to have delaminated from the steel. There is a bubble that runs around the circumference of the tire. I noticed because it felt like driving with a flat, but it didn't lose any pressure. Any idea what caused this?
I'm replacing with all new tires, any...
I have running boards. My wife likes them so I like them. Even with kneel it is much easier to climb aboard for shorter people.
I would not own a truck without crossbars, either on the roof or on the bed (depending on your use case).
All my trucks have had a tonneau of one kind or another...
Got it right away - so many memes on this out there.
Still hilarious, even after all the versions.
My favorite is the Philly Phanatic one.

Still happy with my gen 1. Waiting on price to consider if/when to upgradeā¦
Iāll take any cool new feature, even if I donāt need it. However, what I really want/need is a tighter turning radius in parking lots. This could probably be achieved in software if one side of the carās tires turn a...
Keep the bars.
Our truck beds are relatively short and the bars are Incredibly handy even if only for Home Depot runs for longer items. I have mine on top of the bed and have used them for lumber and ladders that don't fit in the bed.
You'd be surprised the stuff you will carry on the bars...
I really like my Rivian, but in all honesty, if I didn't need to ferry my (wet) wing and foil equipment to the beach, plus the occasional Home Depot run, I'd be daily driving a 911.
This Slate thing is perfect for my beach and Home Depot outings at a price point that allows for a nicer daily...
You can get some VERY good discounts on DBX and great prices on slightly used.
My deal breaker is that the infotainment on the DBX is the previous gen MB system (at least when I test drove last year) . In other words, not very good.
Iāve had many brands of ICE cars and electric Tesla, MB EQS and Rivian.
The best purchase experience has been Tesla and Rivian - canāt deal with the car salesman sleaze, from arguing 20k markups on Raptors to an hour to pick up MB while they try to convince me to buy extended warranties...
