  1. Level 2 charging issues since last update

Yes, it’s in compatibility mode For all vehicles. Still initially does it. Easily remedied by replugging in but just have to be aware so you don’t come back In the morning and your car hasn’t charged
  2. Level 2 charging issues since last update

When charging in my garage with a Tesla wall charger, when I plug it in it always says that it failed to connect. I have to unplug, then plug it back in a second time and then it always seems to work. Not sure why it won’t connect the first time
  3. First day of ownership at dusk

I also just took delivery Of a 2026 TriMotor R1S Storm Blue/Slate Sky. Congrats On your car and outstanding taste šŸ˜„
  4. Lease Terms

Yes, I got the same money factor on the R1 I leased 10 days ago. It was going to cost me $18,000 over three years in interest. I bought out the lease yesterday. $500 a month in interest is nuts
  5. Insurance quotes are high in California

USAA is a sore spot for our family. My wife’s father was killed in Vietnam and yet because he was not a USAA insurance member at the time of his death, we are ineligible. He made the ultimate sacrifice to this country but his family is ineligible. I think it’s shameful
  6. Insurance quotes are high in California

What insurance company do you use and what are your coverages and deductible? Those are great rates
  7. The Dreaded Axle Clunk is Back for Gen 1 AND Early Gen 2! But my R1S Now is Better Than New from Factory

I had my squeeky door handles fixed! Well at least a couple months ago, and haven't heard it yet. What was their fix and exactly what did you describe the problem as. I just took delivery of a 2026 and the door handles are very squeaky
  8. Trouble with Chase Bank leasing a Rivian and registering to my LLC

As they wouldn’t lease to my business with me as an co-applicant, I ended up leasing it in my own name, and now will likely buy out the lease in the name of my business. Anybody know of any issues with this?
  9. Bad Leasing and Delivery Experience

That’s great info and I really appreciate your detailed accurate analysis. Thank you. As you said I’m shocked someone in the press hasn’t picked up on this. There claims are deceptive at a minimum and really bordering on consumer fraud. I’m amazed that they wouldn’t get called to the carpet...
  10. Bad Leasing and Delivery Experience

I charged to 100% state of charge the second day I had the car. As you can see it shows 100% and ā€œall purpose modeā€. It should be at least 371 rated miles
  11. Bad Leasing and Delivery Experience

That is not correct actually. It says right on their site, 371 mile range and 405 miles in conserve mode. This is for a 2026 TriMax
  12. Bad Leasing and Delivery Experience

Yes, I have an R1S TriMax with 22ā€ Sport Bright wheels. In all purpose mode my car should have a rated range of 371 when new. Mine brand new at 100% state of charge only has 346. 371-346=25. That would be 25 miles of missing range. One of the main reasons I paid up for a max battery is so...
  13. Bad Leasing and Delivery Experience

I took delivery of a 2026 Rivian R1S Trimax a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, I had a Really poor leasing and delivery experience. It started with the sales associate at Rivian being very difficult and unhelpful as I tried to navigate the order/transfer/incentive process. In general the...
