Don’t you get $4k back from a used EV? So you still get credit back.
My prediction is Tesla prices will actually decline after the EV credit goes away October 1. People will be less likely to purchase and it will drive prices down. Look at how hard of a time they’re having just trying to sell...
That’s unfortunate… we can only hope Rivian cleans this up sooner than later as it’s clear they are racing to get gross profit up and cutting corners wherever they can. Sadly it seems some service centers are worse than others so the Rivian team needs to do a better job of selecting the right...
Hey guys, so maybe it’s just me and correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t like this idea of other companies using their software. Take VW for example and their new scout models VW is releasing next year. These vehicles will dominate the market especially Rivians small to mid size suv market...
Very strong points well said. I definitely agree on the benefits you mentioned these vehicles offer Amazon. They have people working there much smarter than you and me so I’m sure they wouldn’t aimlessly throw money away on an EV endeavor such as this one now would they? ?
True there’s nothing I’ve read with concrete evidence but I wouldn’t be surprised if the previous administration incentivized companies like Amazon to go electric. Just look what they did to normal Americans im willing to bet companies got some form of kickback. That’s all I’m saying pure...
Yeah personally not a fan and like you said even on a Porsche I still wouldn’t take it. And heck this is coming from a guy who drives a mandarin yellow car. ?
Of course it’s speculation. Not saying it will happen just saying it very well could. I definitely agree on your points about the costs it takes to install those chargers. Amazon put a pause on deliveries during a time where their earnings were taking a hit. Recently they’ve been on fire...
True but Amazon can very well decide not to go through with the 100k purchase just like they requested to slow down the rate of EDV deliveries. Their the largest shareholder and commitment or not things can change on a moments notice especially with this new administration coming in and EV...
Going off this reasoning and chart Tesla was selling more than 4x 3 years in compared to the first year where Rivian has been in a standstill for since Q4 2023. Or am I missing something here?
