Hey everyone,
The F7NA just launched, and we'd rather hear what this community thinks of it than tell you ourselves.
We're sending out 1 free unit to forum members for real-world test. You drive it, you write up what you actually think: good, bad, whatever. We don't touch your review.
What you get
  • You'll get a free dual-camera 4K dash cam worth $159 👉 F7NA 4K Dashcam
  • Remote install support if you need it
  • Priority response on any firmware issues during your two weeks
Who we're looking for
You don't need to be a reviewer or have a big following. We're just looking for people who actually drive and will write something honest when they're done.
  • Active posting history on this forum, account at least 6 months old
  • A real daily driving routine — commute, city, highway, parking, any combination
  • Willing to post a written review with photos or footage after the two weeks, at least a few solid paragraphs
Write it however you want. We're not looking for a product page, just genuine impressions from someone who used it.
What your review should cover (these are suggestions, not requirements)
  • Night and low-light footage quality — this is the feedback we're most curious about
  • How it compares to whatever you're running now
  • Wi-Fi transfer speed in practice
  • Mount stability and install experience
  • App usability
  • Anything that surprised you, positively or otherwise
How to apply
Reply to this thread with three things:
  1. What dash cam you're currently running and how long you've had it
  2. Your typical driving situation — city, highway, mostly parked, mix of all three
  3. One sentence on why you want to test this one
Deadline: May 25th ⏳

We'll DM the selected member within 3 business days of the deadline. If you don't hear from us, it means the spots went to someone else — we won't be sending individual rejections.

Only 1 unit going out, so reply sooner rather than later.

I'm game.

1. None but I've been talking about getting one for my 2022 R1T, since Gen 1 Rivian cameras leave a lot to be desired based upon the 3 major accidents in the 33 months that I previously owned my 2023 R1S and only was useful in 1 out of the 3 accidents with the insurance companies not including the final accident that totalled my R1S when I couldn't make out the jackhole's license plate that cut me off and caused the accident.

Also, if it's good, then I'll be buying one for my wife's Cayenne and my daughter's Q7.

2. My 100+ mile r/t M-F multi-county commute starts before dawn in the country but includes about 50% interstate through the Baltimore City tunnels to a couple different office building complexes during the course of the day and the return trip usually starts before dusk 12+ hours later.

Also, I usually put another 60-100 miles on the weekend mostly on country and state roads.

3. I literally was just talking with my wife about getting one for each of our vehicles and one with 4K front and back cameras sounds ideal.

Oh fun. Throwing my hat in the ring.

  1. What dash cam you're currently running and how long you've had it
    1. None, but have been looking for one since my R1T came back from service with Gear Guard camera turned off, and that very day I got bumped by another car.
  2. Your typical driving situation — city, highway, mostly parked, mix of all three
    1. Mostly suburban/city, light daily highway, public parking during the day, driveway parking at home.
  3. One sentence on why you want to test this one
    1. I've been on the lookout for a real dashcam, and I've also gone to some extended lengths to document/share mods. If you're looking for a detailed rundown, that's the kind of thing that floats my boat.
